Hello,
I'm Ambra Gorini
Career coach and former fear-driven professional who chose purpose over playing it safe.
I help professionals feeling lost embrace fear, quiet their minds and build a life that feels exactly right.
I know what it's like to feel lost
I was the one on a career plan track, earning a promotion every year, well esteemed within the company. But inside, I felt lost and numb. I spent years consistently choosing safety over discomfort because I feared the unknown. But I always felt something wasn’t exactly right.
They say third time's a charm.
I tried to break free from a life that didn't fit twice before, but both times returned to the same unhappy life. Why? I was too scared of walking the "unbeaten" path and didn't know how to sit with the discomfort of uncertainty.
In my 20s, I made decisions based on logic and fear. I chose engineering because it was safe (and I was good at math). One year in, restlessness hit. I flew to London with a one-way ticket, to work as a waitress and learn English until I figured life out. But society's pressure crept in: I was too "smart" to not finish university, too scared of "losing" time. Back I went to a life I hated.
Two years later, degree in hand, I felt restless again. This time I needed even more space so I flew to New Zealand. Further away, but same pattern. I couldn't sit with uncertainty or wait for clarity. I came back and did the only thing I knew to get control: follow everyone else into a master's in business.
I wish I had someone to guide me through those moments, someone to help me see through the fog and learn how to walk through the unknown.
What came after were 10 years of doing what I was supposed to do: job, career, wealth, house, settling down. Finally, I didn't feel scared. Actually, I didn't feel anything. I was numb. Only a lingering anxiety remained, telling me something wasn't right.
Until one day I decided it was enough. This time, I was determined to learn how to sit with the discomfort of uncertainty and actually see it through. I took a severance package and finally gave myself permission to figure out what I really wanted.
That's when I knew: I was meant to help people embrace their truth and express my own through writing.
Now I guide others through the same transformation - so you don't have to wait for a severance package like I did. I will help you understand what really moves you and create a life that feels right for who you really are, right from where you are now.

About me beyond work: When off-duty, you'll find me on the yoga mat, embarrassing myself on a surfboard or on a dancefloor, reading poetry, or writing about the world.

My Values
-

TRUTH
I believe the only way to live a happy life is living in truth. Every little white lie we tell - to ourselves, our loved ones, our manager - might avoid discomfort in the moment but takes us a step further from happiness. Why? Because deep down, we know we're lying. And just like you get upset when someone lies to you, the same happens when you lie to your true self. The moment you accept to live in truth is the moment you start living the life you're meant to live.

MEANING
I believe humans have an innate desire to evolve, and purpose is the path. Your purpose is unique to you - it cannot be defined by others. It might be related to career, family, community, art, or something entirely different. What matters isn't how it looks compared to others, but that it's authentically yours. When we resist our purpose, we become restless and unfulfilled. We chase external validation but never feel satisfied. The long lasting cure for anxiety is finding meaning in life and aligning our actions with what truly matters to us.

COURAGE
This is a value I learned later in life, once I realized that courage doesn't mean being fearless. For me, courage was trying to break free from a box I didn't fit in. But courage alone isn't enough - you must learn how to work with your fears rather than avoid them. I believe we all have the courage to make changes if we learn to treat fear as a teacher, not an enemy. Fear shows us what matters most to us. When we understand this, we can act despite the fear and create the life we truly want.
What do you do if you get lost in the woods?
my Approach
STOP
It's easy to get lost in the woods. When that happens, what's the first thing you do? You stop, right? You take a deep breath and calmly assess your surroundings. Then, you look for the path that feels right, and move forward.
Yet when we feel lost in life, we often do the opposite. We run around, searching and chasing whatever might bring us fulfillment.
But is this running around really bringing us closer to true happiness?
I believe we can approach life the same way we would if we were lost in the woods: following the Stop-Look-Go approach.
The simplest thing, standing still, and yet the most difficult one. How can we find our own path when we don't allow ourselves time to feel what's right for us? Let's pause. Take a deep breath and talk about what's on your mind.
LOOK
Like a forest hidden by fog, our minds are clouded with distractions. Clarity comes with patience, as the fog lifts. Now reflect: how did you get lost, and which path leads home? Together, we'll use tools and questions to help you see clearly and choose your way forward.
GO
You've found your way and seen the path home. But can you really enjoy the walk when you can't see the whole road? The journey brings obstacles, especially on less-traveled paths. In this phase, we prepare for them: identifying what's ahead, what you need, and how to move forward with confidence.
